Born from Real-World Experience
Guardian Shield was founded by a small team of automotive enthusiasts who share a passion for mechanical preservation. After years spent maintaining and restoring our own vehicles, we recognised a problem many owners overlook, the gradual, silent decay of a chassis exposed to the British climate.
Salt, grit, moisture, and road debris constantly attack the underside of every vehicle. Even a well-maintained car can begin to corrode within a few winters. We set out to change that by developing a specialist process that doesn’t just clean, it protects.

Once clean, any light rust or surface oxidation is treated and stabilised. Drainage holes are cleared, components are masked where necessary, and the entire area is dried and inspected once more.
Protective Coating
The final stage involves applying a durable, lanolin-based or hybrid protective product that creates a flexible barrier against salt, water, and grit. These products penetrate seams and welds, ensuring lasting coverage without trapping moisture.
